Les treize desserts ne seraient pas si bons sans le vin cuit pour les accompagner. Sur mon épaule, j’en porte une pleine dame-jeanne, ma bonbonne recouverte d’osier. C’est un excellent réconfortant, tout le monde en boit dans la Pastorale, et puis ce soir est une fête : Lou vin rènde gai, le vin rend gai, il ranime même le feu quand on en jette un peu dans la cheminée.
